Fist Annual Black History Expo

Fist Annual Black History Expo

On Friday, February 27th, Baltz School hosted its first anual Black History Expo, an event that brought together families for a day of cultural celebration and educational activities. The Expo featured a variety of attractions, including a special performance by Griots Wa Umoja, an African drumming group with dynamic rhythms and an engaging performance.

The group not only showcased their talents but also provided an interactive experience for children, allowing them to try their hands at various instruments used in the performance.

In addition to the musical festivities, the event included a Student Art Gallery, where students proudly displayed their artwork. Each piece, created by a student, was showcased for families to admire, highlighting the creativity and talent of the young artists.

Another highlight of the event was a lively game of BINGO, which provided both fun and excitement for attendees. Students also participated in an inspiring activity where they shared their personal "dreams." These aspirations were collected and collectively formed the "Baltz Dream," a symbolic representation of the hopes and futures of the school’s community.

The event was a resounding success, drawing a large turnout and providing an unforgettable experience for students and families alike.
